3D Wheelbarrow

This is another 3D project using a Sizzix die. It looks so sweet after adding lollies/candy into it.
Youtube tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwTH04CPbFs

Items used:
Wheelbarrow die by Sizzix
Strong glue
La Carta Weave in Crimson 12x12" cardstock
Sam & Lucy's self adhesive glitter foam in red and green
Cardboard (from an old cardboard box)
Ink
Die cut 2 sets of the wheelbarrow shape out of cardboard. Then die cut another 2 sets out of cardstock making sure you flip one of them around so the front of the cardstock will be facing out once you put it together (this is especially important for cardstock like the La Carta Weave or Bubble that have texture on the front).
You will also need a piece of cardboard 2 3/4" wide x 6 5/8" long and a piece of cardstock 2 3/4" wide and 12" long to cover most of the centre piece of the wheelbarrow. There will be a small gap so a small piece that is 2 3/4" wide and approx 2" should be able to cover the gap if you need it.
Adhere the centre piece of cardboard with the La Carta cardstock. Thenadhere the rest of the cardstock pieces onto the matching cardboard pieces.
The pieces should now look like this.
Adhere the centre piece of the wheelbarrow to the back of one of the wheelbarrow shapes.
Adhere the other wheelbarrow panel together
I added some black ink to the pieces before adhering them to the wheelbarrow. I also inked the edges of the wheelbarrow to create shadow effects. I cut stars out of Sam & Lucy's self adhesive glittered foam sheets and adhered them to the sides of the wheelbarrow. This wheelbarrow is great for adding candy or lollies inside or can hold some items you want to store.
This wheelbarrow I created is for decorative purposes. I filled it with foam and covered the foam with cardstock and added flowers on toothpicks into it. I also glued a lace ribbon around it.

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial and inspired you to make one yourself! Take care :)

3D Pram/Stroller/Baby Buggy

Using the same concept as the birdhouse tutorial to put these together. These are Sizzix dies which I've had for a while now and have found a fun way to use them! Try it out yourself :)

3D Bird House

A fun project using the Sizzix Birdhouse die. It is die cut out of a cardboard box I had handy.
The video tutorial is on my Youtube channel by clicking Youtube on the side link or the URL is
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-mCIiXNw7U&list=PLl2St-0g6gLW_CXZymYrfL4ZxI9QVCXrg&feature=plcp
Die cut 2 of the birdhouse shapes from cardboard and a rectangle piece that is 6" x 1 3/4"
Shape the rectangle to create walls and floor of the birdhouse. Glue down to the back one birdhouse shape til set.
Glue down the other birdhouse shape.
Paint the birdhouse frame and set it to dry or use a heat tool to dry the paint quickly.
Cut out 4 rectangle and fold in half:
Largest size is 7 7/8" long x 2 5/16" wide
Next layer is 6 1/8" long x 2 5/16" wide
3rd layer is 4 1/8" long x 2 5/16" wide
Last layer is 1 7/8" long x 2 5/16" wide

Punch a decorative border at the ends of the roof shapes and ink the edges with Antique Linen distress ink.
Adhere lace between each layer edge
Adhere the largest roof layer first and then stagger the rest of the roof shapes finishing with the smallest on the top.

Embellish as desired with pearl flourish, flowers, bird from the Tim Holtz birdcage die and adhere a loop of lace/ribbon at the top for hanging ornaments
This bird house was created the same way but instead of painting it, I covered the birdhouse with La Carta weave paper.

Pink, black and silver Mini Album

I created this mini for my sister using the DCWV All Dressed Up cardstock stack and cre8tiv mini stacks.

Click on the YouTube link under Links to watch the video version
Die cut wings were created to make a pocket for tags.

A very simple page with a frame for a photo and journaling.

This opens up for photos and journaling

Pocket full of tags.

A double page spread with corners made from ribbon and pockets behind for tags.

I made this gorgeous expandable folder by copying an expandable folder I have. Inside holds heaps of pockets and tags that look like files.

I crackle accented this chipboard photo frame in black soot shape and also holds tags behind it.

The dress form holds a tag that is tucked behind it. The tag slides out and flips open pages for photos and journaling.

A photo frame and a tag behind it.. These are handmade flowers from ribbon.

Another simple page with a photo frame for a large photo and journal below it.

I love these petal envelopes as you can tell I use them all the time in my minis. Great was to display photos and journaling.

This page was inspired by Sex In The City. My sister and I used to watch it all the time. The tags pull out for photos and journaling.

I love creating minis inside minis because there is so much space for photos and journaling in them... and they look so cute!

Face your fears and try something new!

Swing photo frame reveals another photo of another mini album I have created for my friend

A mini expandable file I created to house heaps of photos and journaling.

A slide card slides out a photo at the top and bottom simultaneously.

A mini album hold heaps of more photos and journaling.

This petal card opens to reveal a photo and more photos behind it as it is held together with a ribbon tie.

The dress was a die cut which I decorated with ribbon and tulle

A waterfall element reveals each photo as you slowly pull the side tab. I hope you enjoyed it!

DCWV Far East mini album

Asian themed mini album I created using the DCWV Far East 8"x8" paper stack.

I paper pieced a fan to become a pocket for the tags behind it.

The slider card simultaneously slides out a photo at the top and bottom. So cool

Photo mat opens up once removed from the photo corners.

I designed a swinging photo frame using a twisting jewellery clasp.

A simple mini album to keep many more photos. I love using the most of my space!

A petal envelop that opens up for a photo. It also has places behind for more photos once opened up

The lace pocket on this page holds a mini file for photos and journaling.

The very interactive waterfall page reveals photos when you slowly pull the side tag
